Superior Dog Boarding in Sherwood Park and Surrounding Area
WHY MUTT HEADS?
Our Passion for Animals
Mutt Heads Pet Services started because of our love for animals. We have dogs and a cat of our own and foster dogs for Second Chance Animal Rescue Society (SCARS). We are used to different sizes, ages, breeds, energy levels and temperaments. We are located on a fenced acreage close to Sherwood Park, Edmonton and Beaumont. Our facility only has capacity for 12 dogs at a time, so you know that your pup will get tons of one-on-one attention. Your dogs will be able to play in a safe and secure area. We want our clients to have piece of mind when we look after their animal and know that we treat our animals like family. Sometimes pet owners can't be there for their pets, and we want to take the stress out of these situations by being a second family to them.
Cassie worked as a Human Resources professional for almost a decade, and decided that she needed a career change - doing something that she absolutely loved doing! Steven currently works in Emergency Services and works shift work. With his schedule, this will allow him to help people in need as well as spend time with animals. Our organization is bonded and insured through ProFur. Cassie has current Pet First Aid.
OUR FUR FAMILY
Buddha was our first baby. He joined our family in August 2013 at approximately 3 years old. He is about 40 lbs. and is a mix breed from Thailand.
Phil joined our family in March 2014 at approximately 2 years old. Phil is FIV+ and truly thinks his is one of the dogs.
Hank joined our family in October 2018 at approximately 5 years old. He originally came to us as a foster dog, but we couldn't let him go. Hank is about 110 lbs. and is a gentle giant mixed breed.
Hobbs is about 65 lbs. and is a mixed breed. He is a senior fella that loves hanging with his people and making new friends. He is our official greeter.
Peggy joined our family in July 2020 at approximately 8 months of age. We knew we were in trouble when we started fostering her as she was exactly our jam of a dog. Peggy is currently about 70 pounds, but has much, much more room to grow.
